of Sixth and Broadway appeared in 1916 with the A. O.
Wheeler Wallpaper and Paint Store located at 604 N. Broadway,
(later) the location of Wheelers Hobbies and Crafts,
operated by Lawrence Wheeler, the son of the paint store
couple. The A. O. Wheelers bought the Moore and Budd
business which formerly was the old Finley Paint Co." The
