St. John's Lutheran Church
Third and Walnut - no postmark (c1915-1930)
St. John's Lutheran Church was founded in Pittsburg in 1880 with the first building being but in 1885 at 607 N. Joplin. In 1919, the First Congregational Church merged with the United Presbyterian Church and their building on the northwest corner of Third and Walnut was purchased by St. John's. The current building on the same site was dedicated in 1956.
